So I feel like I don't clean my brushes nearly as often as I should...I do about once a month. I always used to use a mild shampoo (what I use on my hair), Then in the summer a Sephora lady conned me into buying brush cleanser. Maybe I'm not using the cleanser properly but I never feel like the spray cleans my brushes at all! They just feel dried out and like I'm spraying chemicals onto my brushes that I'll eventually use on my face.
Anyway tonight I was randomly watching some youtube videos by MichellePhan and she cleans her brushes using dishsoap and olive oil! It's so convenient and cost effective so I figured I'd give it a try. I was so keener I even taped my brushes upside down to dry.
Yeppp those are all my brushes :D I really hope one of my cats doesn't jump and try and bat or bite it off!
