Sorry I have been MIA lately. One, I have been super busy with work, and two, I haven't really been shopping this month.
So there are several things I use daily that are reaching the end of their life. Since these are all items that I love I figured I'd use up every last bit before I purchase any more makeup.
Chanel Vitalumiere- It's the first foundation that I've found works amazing for dry skin. Apparently a lot of celebrities use this for red carpet events. I've got about a quarter of the bottle left so I'll definitely enjoy this while it lasts. I'm not sure what my next foundation will be, but I'm thinking about Laura Mercier or Nars Sheer Glow.
NARS Laguna Bronzer - A cult bronzer, I've had this one for a while. I probably won't repurchase because it is a bit light, but it'll last me through the winter.
Make Up Forever HD Powder- Honestly, this powder isn't the best I've tried. It leaves a white cast on my skin, and it's very messy! However, it sets foundation well so I still want to use it up. Next I'm thinking I'll indulge on the Chanel loose powder. I'll justify it since I've been a good girl all month...and my birthday is coming up!
Make Up Forever HD Primer- First primer I ever tried so I don't have much to compare it to. I do notice a difference when I wear a primer so I'm happy to use it up.
MAC Shy Girl Lipstick- A gorgeous peachy nude color. Definitely one of my favorite MAC lipsticks ever. The only thing I don't like about it is that it settles into your lip creases a bit, and it isn't very long lasting. But the color is still worth it.
Maybelline Define-a-Brow- Does the job for my brows. I'll probably repurchase it because it's no fuss.
Korres Jasmine Lip Butter- Feels great on the lips, smells nice, adds a pretty baby pink tint to the lips. I always carry this in my purse, so I'm surprised it has lasted me over a year! They have these in tube form too which I think I prefer over dipping my fingers into the pot.
Other than that, my complexion has really cleared up this last month and I think I can safely credit that to a couple new skin care products I discovered. I'll try and do a post on that later this week :D
